Sport and fitness have been a part of Arek Radtke’s everyday life since the day he was born. Hailing from Poland he comes from sports gifted family with both parents representing their country in track and field and being national record holders, so it’s no wonder that he started his endeavour with sport starting with track and field at an early age Arek has won multiple titles in 100m, 200m, 400m and relays at State Championships and also reaching top 5 at Nationals. During this time he also found a passion for team sports successfully representing at a high level in basketball, volleyball, swimming and European handball.

Pursuing his passion and dedication for sport and performance Arek graduated with a Masters degree in Physical Education & Sports Science specialising in Sport Coaching from The University of Physical Education and Sport in Gdansk, Poland. Whilst at university he successfully ran fitness programs for the national ice-skating team as well as coaching many individual high performance athletes. At the end of his study he was chosen to lead the Polish olympic sailing team in the preparation for Beijing Olympic Games 2008 as a strength & conditioning coach. He has also worked as a high school PDHPE teacher and Head of Athletics Department where he developed fitness programs that lead school sporting teams to achieve great feats. Not only does Arek have a wide experience in coaching various sports, but also the desire to constantly develop which has led him to complete a variety of courses. Now on top of his Masters degree he holds a Certificate III and IV in Fitness from Australian College of Sport and Fitness, Level 3 – Athletics Australia Coach, IAAF Kids Athletics Coach and a Qualified Swim Coach.

As Head Coach of Mosman Little Athletics Club in Sydney he worked with discus throwers who reached the state final. His professionalism and commitment have also helped him successfully run sessions for junior Perth Glory FC athletes. Coaching athletics in Wenona Girls School and providing multi skilled sports classes for the youngest generation of soccer players in the lower north shore has helped Arek understand the demands of clientele from all backgrounds, skill levels, age groups and goals.

Drawing from his strong background in athletics Arek keeps himself very fit, he has completed Tough Mudder and has recently my training has been mostly focused on swimming with aim to compete in the Great Ocean Swim, Cole Classic and then move into triathlons. He believe that everyone’s body needs to be challenged with new movements’ patterns in order to improve, himself included.

Arek’s combination of education and wide experience, working with different clients and athletes in an array of environments, has created a unique view on every getting the most out of every client and athlete. Being a coach, a teacher and a sport manager has allowed him to gain a comprehensive understanding of the fitness and sport industry from every angle. This has optimised his ability to empower his clients to achieve their goals and much more.
